What is 'The Works':
We'll fix any problem, virus or glitch. It doesn't matter what your problem is. We use many strategies to fix computer problems, but the main strategy that we employ, and our claim-to-fame, is called our 15pt scrub. It is an extremely intensive cleaning and optimization service.

The 15pt checkup works so well, it got us mentioned in a Popular Mechanics article. We sent them our process, they performed it on their machine and found that it doubled in speed. They were quite pleased and proceeded to write an article about how to speed up and clean up a computer. That really made our day!

We use the 15pt scrub process along with many other strategies to fix computers in the worst shape you can imagine. Drop it off and let us take a look. Uninterruptible Power Supply

With a UPS you will not see us as often.

We use a UPS on every computer we work on either at the shop or at our homes. A UPS is basically a big, nice surge protector with a battery attached to it. If the power flickers in a storm, it not only stops the surges of electricity, it stops the dips too. The dips can be just as damaging.

Antivirus and Antispyware software

AVG Anti-malware will protect your system without slowing it down.

The computers in our shop have it installed, the computers in our home have it installed. There is nothing that will protect you 100%. If the government can get hacked, and Microsoft can get hacked, then we know that money can’t buy perfect security. AVG Anti-virus, however, is the best that we have found. We use AVG to remove viruses, spyware, adware and other junk from infected computers every day! There is a FREE version of AVG, but we recommend the full version. It has some extra tools by which to find sneak malware programs.

Add AVG Full. $51.99 for a 2 year license. We will install and configure it for you.
(If you don’t want AVG full, we will put AVG FREE on your computer unless you ask us not to. We are all about safety.)

Automated, Online Backup. Monitored for your protection.

Never forget to backup again. We remember for you!

There are lots of online backup solutions out there. We have tried many of them. The reason our solution is so special is because we monitor your backups to make sure that they are actually happening.

What if you install a backup solution on your computer and after six months it malfunctions? A year later, you realize it. If there had been a data loss incident in that time, it could have been catastrophic.

With our system, we monitor your backup status. If your system doesn’t complete a backup, you get a phone call or email asking if everything is OK. When we do call, we usually find out that our customers are on vacation and their computers have been turned off.

Our backups are also HIPAA compliant; so if you are a doctor or a lawyer you can use our service to backup patient/client information.
