Yet again hackers found a hole in Internet Explorer. This time, however, the issue is bigger because 1) the flaw is in EVERY version of Internet Explorer and 2) XP users won’t get a fix for this issue as Microsoft has stopped releasing patches for users of the XP operating system.

What do you do now?

  1. You could unplug your computer from the internet. Your friends on Facebook may be sad, but you will be safe.
  2. If you are on XP, start using Chrome or Firefox now. Don’t use Internet Explorer anymore please.
  3. If you are running Windows Vista, 7, or 8 you could disable/uninstall Flash on your PC for now so you can sort of safely use Internet Explorer until the patch is released or start using Chrome and Firefox now as they are better browsers than IE by leaps and bounds.
